The story of the Egg Shell

The Story of the Eggshell Life, in all its tender mystery, is not unlike the story of the eggshell. And it’s perfectly okay—this delicate unfolding is simply how nature speaks in its own quiet wisdom. The eggshell begins as a sanctuary—fragile, yet firm. A sacred container, it cradles the golden yolk and the gentle white, shielding the promise of life from the chaos of the world. Without it, the contents would spill, lost and formless, scattered before they ever had a chance to become something more. But watch what happens when the egg is boiled—transformed by heat, made ready for the world. The shell, once essential, becomes unnecessary. In fact, it must be removed. Imagine biting into a perfectly boiled egg, the soft, rich interior melting in your mouth—only to be rudely interrupted by a sharp sliver of shell. The pleasure halts. Your senses recoil. That tiny fragment is now an intruder. You see, even something that was once vital can become an obstacle when its time has passed....

Nellikka

Nellikka: The Overlooked Superberry I Now Embrace Until recently, I regarded nellikka, or Indian gooseberry, as just another sour fruit—a cultural relic from my childhood and nothing more. I had known, vaguely, that it was a good source of vitamin C and was often praised for its anti-aging properties. But despite its availability and benefits, I never made it part of my daily diet. Most regrettably, I never introduced it to my only son, who—despite hating most fruits—loves sour tastes. If only I had encouraged him early on, he might have enjoyed this superfood all his life. It’s a quiet regret I carry as a mother. But regrets, as Eckhart Tolle teaches in his wisdom on mindfulness, belong to the past—and the past has no power over the present unless we allow it. I now try to embody this principle: let go of the past and act in the now. What’s done is done, but today, I can act differently. I can guide my son to embrace this fruit. The stage is set, the camera is ready—Action! Curio...

My perspective on Chakras and the Panchabootas

Panchaboothas and Chakras: The Five Elements, Energy, and the Healing Within For those even remotely interested in Eastern philosophy and spirituality, the idea that the human body is composed of the five elements—Earth, Water, Fire (Sun), Air, and Space—is not new. These foundational elements of the Universe, known as the Panchaboothas, are believed to manifest within us through energy centers called chakras. Though enlightened masters have revealed countless chakras, for practical understanding, these are simplified into seven key chakras. Of these, five align with the earthly elements and two connect directly to the energy of the Universe. If you've clicked on this article, chances are you're already familiar with these concepts. But for those newer to this realm, let’s briefly revisit the seven chakras and their associations: Each chakra has a corresponding element, mantra, color, and sense organ. When we perform exercises or meditations to balance these chakras, we engage...
